SystemEU is a Horizon Europe project bringing together 15 organisations across 5 European regions — bridging innovation gaps through interregional collaboration and deep-tech deployment in Healthcare, Energy and Mobility.

FUNDING & FINANCIAL SUPPORT.

€7.55M

Total FSTP Budget allocated for interregional innovation projects.
51.8% of the total SYSTEMEU action plan budget.

Funding Rates

  • 100%
    Startups: ≤7 yrs, innovative, scalable, independent turnover < €10M.
  • 100%
    Non-profit entities: Universities, RTOs, foundations, public bodies.
  • 70%
    For-profit entities: All other companies (30% own resources required).

Max FSTP per individual entity: €600,000 across all projects combined.

Payment Structure

Payments are structured in three tranches to ensure cash flow without upfront capital.

25% Pre-Financing
On signature of grant agreement
50% Interim
Upon approval of progress report
25% Final
On final report approval

The Five SystemEU Regions

All consortium partners must be based in one of the five participating regions. Each is backed by a regional ecosystem leader who directly co-finances and monitors funded projects.
