



SystemEU is a European-funded research and innovation initiative that brings together research organizations, businesses, and public authorities from five European regions: Bavaria (Germany), Castilla y León (Spain), Northwest (Romania), North (Portugal), and the Canton of Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina). SystemEU’s mission is to address common challenges in the fields of energy, mobility, and health through interregional and international collaboration.
An open call for Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP) will be launched in June 2026, offering funding for innovative projects addressing challenges in sustainable energy, smart mobility, or healthcare solutions.
Available budget: Small projects up to €1.1 million (maximum 5 projects), large projects up to €2.2 million (maximum 1 project).
Funding: 70% (100% for startups and non-profit organizations).
APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 1, 2026
In this briefing, you will learn the details of the FSTP Open Call and eligibility criteria, how to form successful interregional consortia, partner search strategies, step-by-step application guidance, and inspiration for potential alliances. The session includes dedicated networking time in parallel breakout rooms for each sector (energy, mobility, health). The main objectives will then be:

3.Contribute collective value
4.Engage actively in each session
Open to: Research and innovation organizations, companies of all sizes (including startups), public authorities and public sector entities, organizations from SystemEU territories or interested in collaborating with them.
